2019 AZA SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENT EXHIBIT AWARD

The newest exhibit at Zoo Knoxville features Arya, a Malayan tiger along with several other species such as langurs, gibbons and cranes. The beautiful new habitat has state-of-the-art amenities for the animal’s well being and for visitors, there are numerous views and many hands-on activities. The Tiger Temple (interior viewing space) features a full-size tiger interactive wall that invites visitors to learn more about the tiger’s amazing adaptations. Visitors can also sit in a crane's nest, compare their wingspan, try to jump as high as a tiger or swing like a gibbon on monkey bars.
