2024 AZA EXHIBIT AWARD – TOP HONORS WINNER

This stunning exhibit engages visitors in the stories of the amazing Galápagos Islands and its’ species. Through beautiful, oversized murals, immersive environments, and compelling visuals, the exhibit transports and captures the visitors curiosity.

Gecko Group collaborated closely with the Houston Zoo team to develop the “One Ocean” concept and communicate the Zoo’s conservation efforts. Inspired storylines connected visitors to the Islands, the Zoo, and each other. Making these connections helped drive home the Zoo’s conservation efforts and illustrate the importance of every action. A celebratory approach demonstrated the impact of working together.
