Nashville Zoo recently completed construction on a new, impressive 586,000 square-foot two-story parking garage. The garage provides ample parking for the Zoo’s many visitors. Given the massive size of the garage, it was critical that the garage have a comprehensive signage and wayfinding plan to ensure everyone could confidently and easily navigate in and out of the space.

Gecko Group was excited to continue our long-standing collaboration with Nashville Zoo to bring bold, vibrant, memorable signage to the new garage. The designs feature beautiful large-scale murals and post-wraps, featuring 30 different species from the Zoo. The signage was designed to create distinct, memorable zones within the expansive garage. The signage also provided an opportunity to begin messaging on the Zoo’s important conservation work before guests walk through the gates. 17 species conservation messages are strategically placed throughout the garage. This content helps inspire appreciation for the good work the Zoo does to help threatened and endangered species.
