Building from the Nashville Zoo’s brand and logo, Gecko created a comprehensive parking identification and wayfinding program to help guide the zoo visitors and improve their experience while at the Zoo. Using large black silhouettes of animals found at the Zoo each lot was named for an iconic Zoo species. Posts with custom patterns and color palettes give the Zoo a unique look and feel and helps to generate excitement while visitors make their way to the entrance.

On the interior of the Zoo three distinct areas were identified to help the visitor navigate the Zoo and understand what it has to offer.  Within the three areas, Jungle Loop, Zoo Central and Savannah Loop – icons were used to help visitors easily identify and understand what species and amenities were in each area.
